Trial attorneys, not just negotiators

Prepared to go to trial

The Law Offices of William Salle are experienced and skilled trial attorneys, not just negotiators. Many personal injury firms are only interested in negotiating your case. The problem is, if negotiations break down, those firms are not prepared to go to trial, and once trial is near, some attorneys will pressure their clients to settle a claim for less than its true value.

This is why the firm treats every case as though it is going to trial, and advises settling only when it receives a settlement offer that truly reflects the value of your claim.

On your side

Insurance companies have one goal

A serious injury or a death can devastate a family. Loss of work, loss of income and loss of mobility take an extreme toll. And while you may be trying to work out how to pay your next bill, insurance companies are pressuring you to accept what is almost always a very small amount of money to settle your claim, often a fraction of what it may be worth.

Whether it is your own insurance company or the one representing the other side, an insurance company really has one goal: to minimize the amount of money you recover. Injuries can take months or even years to show their full extent, and making sure yours is properly diagnosed and treated matters both for your health and for the strength of your claim.

Don’t make the common mistake of trying to settle your own case, even with your own insurance company. The firm is here to protect you, not the insurance company.

Your claim

What compensation can cover

A personal injury claim can include many kinds of recoverable damages. Your compensation may cover any or all of these, and more:

  • Medical bills and costs
  • Property losses
  • Lost wages
  • Pain and suffering
  • Convalescent care
  • Long-term care
  • Rehabilitation
  • Retraining
  • Loss of enjoyment of life
