Slip and fall accidents and dog bites
Falls and animal bites are easy to play down. Get medical attention, document what happened, and call to discuss your case.
Trip, slip and fall accidents
Almost everyone has fallen down. Children just get up and carry on, but adults are often embarrassed and try to minimize the incident. Injuries may not show up immediately. If you hit your head, you need to see a doctor.
If you trip on public, commercial or private property, document the situation and what caused you to fall. Make sure you understand what unsafe condition caused your fall. Ask witnesses for their contact information. If you are too injured at the time, have someone else document the incident for you as soon as possible.
Dog and animal bites
Many people think an animal bite is no big deal. That could not be further from the truth. Animal bites often involve puncture wounds that can become infected; they may take months to heal and leave lifelong disfigurement.
Do not make the mistake of minimizing any animal bite. Always get medical attention as quickly as possible. Whatever the situation, if you or someone you know has been injured, get the help of competent, experienced professionals.
If you or someone you know has been injured, call (818) 543-1900 and ask to speak to William F. Salle.
